Carolina Blue is a Brevard, NC based band whose roots run deep in the tradition of Bill Monroe. Carolina Blue is unmatched for style, energy, and musicianship. Founders Bobby Powell’s warm baritone and Timmy Jones’ high and lonesome tenor create a class bluegrass duet. The band includes Reese Combs on bass, James McDowell on banjo, as well as American and Canadian Grand Master Fiddle Champion, Aynsley Porchak on fiddle. We are proud to open our 46th season with this great traditional bluegrass band.
