Lucketts Bluegrass Foundation

The non-profit Lucketts Bluegrass Foundation was formed to sustain the uniquely American tradition of live Bluegrass performances.  Loyal fans in Lucketts and surrounding communities have been treated to performances for over 50 seasons on Saturday nights from October through April.

To offset the bands’ expenses, each receives most of the proceeds from the admissions collected at the gate. To minimize expenses, all shows at the Old Schoolhouse are run by volunteers. Proceeds from the concessions are used to offset the Foundation’s minimal administrative expenses and to purchase and maintain sound equipment.

As part of its mission, the Lucketts Bluegrass Foundation seeks opportunities to provide Bluegrass education and to give financial support to Bluegrass bands, whose members often travel great distances and incur substantial expenses to offer our community first-rate, live performances at the Old Schoolhouse.

Generous private patrons provide additional funding to assist the Lucketts Bluegrass Foundation’s mission. Tax exempt contributions are accepted in cash at the shows or in checks payable to:
