The Appalachian Road Show has emerged as a bluegrass supergroup that blends virtuosic mountain music with cultural storytelling. Their music tells the story of the people and places that shaped Appalachian music, and they consider it their mission to honor the music and bring it forward in an authentic fashion. All experienced bluegrass musicians, the band consists of Barry Abernathy on banjo, Jim VanCleve on fiddle, Darrell Webb on mandolin, Zeb Snyder on guitar and Jeff Partin on bass and dobro. Soulful vocals, moving harmonies, masterful instrumentation, and their heartfelt presence are sure to transport listeners and pull heartstrings. Their album, Della Jane's Heart, is currently a nominee for IBMA Album of the Year.
