Sunday 3 pm Matinee! Nominee for IBMA New Artist of the year, Carson Peters and Iron Mountain perform a special daytime show. Peters has been fiddling, singing and entertaining audiences since he was 3 years of age. He is a natural entertainer, full of life and personality. At the age of 21, Carson Peters has quite a following, and his band is one of the most energetic and hottest bluegrass bands in the business. They’ve made multiple trips to the Grand Ole Opry and are winning fans all over. These young Billy Blue Record artists prove that traditional bluegrass is still alive and well! Providing an opening set is a terrific local band equally passionate about traditional bluegrass. From Montgomery County, Maryland, Seneca Creek Bluegrass is gaining fans across the DMV region with their lively bluegrass music.
