From eastern Kentucky, The Kevin Prater Band is steeped in the bluegrass tradition of high vocal trios. Kevin, formerly of The James King Band, leads a fine group that performs bluegrass music, gospel music and a smattering of classic country. Patuxent Partners has been a Lucketts favorite for many years. Patuxent Music’s Tom Mindte fronts a band that is inspired by local bluegrass greats like Buzz Busby and the Stonemans. Soaring vocals, strong instrumentation, and superb song choices make for a great show.

Known for their traditional, hard-driving bluegrass, The Virginia Ramblers hail from Central Virginia. Charles Frazier (guitar), Donnie Shifflett (bass), Troy Gooding (mandolin), Brandon Johnson (banjo), and Richard Will (fiddle) return to the Lucketts stage with their brand of Virginia bluegrass. This is the real deal, folks!
From Harrisburg, Remington Ryde features an old time bluegrass sound, showmanship, and fun. The band is bringing a musical tribute to James King to the old schoolhouse stage. Please join us as Remington Ryde honors the Bluegrass Storyteller.
