Lucky for us, the community of young musicians who embrace traditional music is growing. Victor Furtado and Andrew Vogts have astonishing talents, adventurous spirits, and a respect for old-time Appalachian music. At only 17 years of age, Victor Furtado is a master of clawhammer – banjo. He joins forces with his friend, Andrew Vogts, a fiddler who attends the Cab Calloway School for the Arts in Delaware. The duo has opened for the Blind Boys of Alabama, and they are opening for Patuxent Partners on April 29. Get ready to enjoy their fresh take on old-time classics.
