The Special Consensus is a contemporary bluegrass band led by banjo player, Greg Cahill. Holder of an IBMA Distinguished Achievement Award and included in the SPBGMA Hall of Greats, Cahill has mentored many great bluegrassers. IBMA Male Vocalist of 2023, Greg Blake, provides guitar and lead vocals. Bassist extraordinaire, Dan Eubanks, and Michael Prewitt on the mandolin round out the band. As a special treat, Billy Harrison & Haywire will provide an opening act. Their energy and enthusiasm will start off a terrific evening of bluegrass music.
