Stained Glass Bluegrass, the Sunday morning gospel music show, has been on the air for 55 years on WAMU and Bluegrass Country.
Currently hosted by Cindy Baucom, it’s our most popular show, with loyal listeners around the world. For more than forty years, Cindy has pursued her passion for Bluegrass Music as an award winning broadcaster, producer, promoter, singer, musician, writer, photographer and MC. Her national radio show, “Knee-Deep In Bluegrass,” went into syndication in 2003. Now heard on over a hundred radio markets, Cindy uses her knowledge of the music and enthusiasm to entertain and educate the listeners of her show.
Cindy was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Bluegrass Music Association and served two 3-year terms consecutively, including one year as the IBMA Board’s vice-chair.
Larry Stephenson Band
The award-winning Larry Stephenson Band has been entertaining audiences for over 37 years and includes numerous performances on the Grand Ole Opry, RFD-TV and festivals and concerts across the US and Canada.
The group is led by Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame member and 5-time Society for The Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America (SPBGMA) Male Vocalist of the year. He has also been inducted into the SPBGMA Hall of Greats in 2018. With numerous nominations and awards, Larry records for his family owned label, Whysper Dream Music.
